This alumni update is for Paul Bagai (class of '98). Here are some new pictures of our girls. Jadyn Trinity is now 3 1/2 and loves going to her dance and swimming classes. She will also be in preschool this fall. Ashlyn Grace is almost 2 and is quite a handful. She is full of energy and love to cuddle. Paul still loves his job as a youth pastor and Marianne still loves staying home with the girls.

Peter and Jill (Jensen) Gidlund welcomed their first child this summer. Lillian Grace was born August 6, 2007. Peter, Jill and Lily are living in Berkeley, CA.

We just had our second daughter, Ashlyn Grace born October 4th. Big sister Jadyn was born February 10, 2005. Paul is still a youth pastor in Castro Valley and loving it. He is also in his second year of seminary getting an MDiv. Marianne is a stay at home mom and loves raising her little girls.

Rishi Siva and Jennifer Fewless were married on June 24, 2006. It was a beautiful wedding. Former Student Melinda Fewless (2000) and Alumni Megan Davis (2000) and Jody (Fabris) Perry (1998) were bridesmaids. Congratulations, Jennifer and Rishi!

Paul and Marianne Bagai write: These are Jadyn Trinity's 1 year pics although she is now 13 months (she was 9 months old in the family photo). We are also expecting our second child end of Sept. Jadyn is such a joy in our lives. Paul is still a youth pastor and I am still a stay at home mom.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Billy Chambers (RCS class of 1998) passed away on the evening of January 12th. He collapsed while playing basketball.
A viewing was held Tuesday evening, January 18, from 4pm to 8pm, at
Sorenson Bros. Mortuary, 1140 B St., Hayward.
A memorial service was held Wednesday morning, January 19, at 11am, at Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church, 1188 12th Street, Oakland.
Please keep his dear family in your prayers.

Vince ('96) and Brooke (Prola) Lopez welcome their second child this month! Sierra Abigal was born October 18th, weighed 6lbs 9oz, and was 19in long. Dad reports that everyone is doing great!!!

Erin McGrath has moved to Granada Hills in Southern California, where she will be working with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp Office. She moved in on April 1 and is starting to feel settled. She is currently raising funds in order to be "officially" hired, but in her heart, she says she has arrived and is anxious to start and walk by faith.

Congratulations to Joe and Rochelle (Rayhbuck) Ball on the birth of their first child, Geneva Marie, born on Thursday, January 8, 2004. She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth. The proud grandparents are RE Principal Tim Ball and his wife Sue and RCS Parents Roger and Danita Rayhbuck.

Kendra Strey earned her journalism degree last May from Point Oma Nazarene University in San Diego. She is currently living in New York City.

Lisa Jones graduated in May from the University of San Francisco with a degree in Psychology. After a short break, she intends on going into a post-baccalaureate pre-med program. She is also engaged to marry Robert Sinohue next May. Lisa currently lives in Novato, CA.

Sydney Schaefer received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University in Malibu on April 27, 2002. She will begin graduate school in the fall at Pennsylvania State University, pursuing her doctoral degree in Motor Control. She will be under the supervision of Robert L. Sainburg, Ph.D. in his Movement Neuroscience Laboratory. She would like to acquire a professorship and continue her research in the area of movement in disability. Congratulations, Sydney!

Alison Siegel was married to Philipp McAfee, of Roseburg, Oregon, on Saturday, Augsut 18, 2001, at First Covenant Church in Oakland. She is now a senior at Seattle Pacific University and plans to graduate in the spring of 2003. Her husband Philipp graduated from OIT in Klammath Falls, Oregon this past summer and is now working for the Washington Department of Transportation as an engineer. The couple continues to reside in Seattle, Washington, for the foreseeable future.
