Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a date for our 20th reunion!  It will be on August 15th.  Invitations are being made and will be sent out the week of May 18th.  We are still missing a few students, so if you have kept in contact with anyone from our class, please e-mail me and let me know their contact info. Elizabeth (Barnes) DeFazio writes: I just wanted to let you know that Jeff and I had our second baby on April 18, 2006. Her name is Cecilia Laura De Fazio. Her nickname is Lia. She was 7lbs 6oz, 21 inches long. She looks just like her daddy. I attached a couple photos. One is a picture of the baby and the other is the baby being held by her very proud older brother, Nico De Fazio. Nico is 2yrs 5 mos. Jeff is working for JH Partners, a private equity firm in San Francisco and after 8 years in advertising, I studied interior design at UC Berkeley and started an Interior Design business in 2002. We attend Berkeley Presbyterian.

Jennifer Cuneo has three boys, Zachary Cuneo-Romie age 12 (jr. high), Alexzander
Cuneo-Romie age 10, and Austin Cuneo-Romie age 9. She lives in San Lorenzo, CA and is a Project Manager for New Housing Tracts all over the Northern California area for Pulte Homes. Alex is on a traveling baseball tournament team, for Jr. Oakland A's. 300 boys try out for the team and only 14 are picked! He plays catcher and short stop. December 2003

Al and Ina (Budiono) Laymen welcomed son Ryan Christopher into their home on June 27, 2003. He joined sisters Samantha and Joanna. The Laymen family moved to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, last December, and say it's a good place to raise children! And nice and warm for Christmas!



January 2003

Rachel (Allender) Jackson finished her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at CSU, Sacramento, in December 2002. She is teaching privately, and she and her husband Brett enjoy parenting their two daughters, Isabela (2) and Sophia (1). Brett works for the State of California.



November 2002

Mike Palmer and his wife Charla are the proud parents of Morgan Ashley Palmer, born on August 5, 2002. She weighed 6 pounds, 19 inches at birth! Congratulations to the Palmer family!


January 2002

Paul and Kerri De Windt were married April 2, 1994 and are living in Hudsonville, MI with their children: Nathaniel Paul (born May 31, 1997) and Joy Christine (born February 16, 1999). A new baby is due any day! Paul has been an Oracle database manager at Family Research Council for over 6 years. His company was significantly involved in getting RLUIPA passed!

Michelle Rose was a guest at the October 13 wedding of Stacey Miller and Mark Strachan!




June 2000

Congratulations to Paul and Joy Kreiss on the birth of their son, James Daniel, born January 8, 2000! He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20-1/2 inches long at birth. James is named after his father and his two proud grandfathers.



May 2000

Scott and Tami (Normann) Ghere are the proud parents of Tyler Harley Ghere, born January 15. Tyler weighed 10.2 pounds and was 23 inches long! Scott has started his own construction company (Scott Ghere Construction!), and Tami is keeping busy taking care of 5-year-old Courtnie and newborn Tyler, not to mention helping with bookkeeping for the new business. The Gheres have moved to Sandpoint, Idaho.

Kamna Narain has temporarily relocated to Southern California, where she is working for a company called netsperanto.com, which hosts destination web sites for various ethnic communities. Juli (Williams) Ingebretson now goes by the name Christine. She and Doug have a new little girl named Grace Christine, born on July 24. Juli works for Crown Media and attended Moody Bible Institute, where she got her bachelor of arts degree in Educational Ministries, and Western Seminary, where she expects to graduated with a masters degree in General Ministry in June. Lorie (Yandell) Wallace, who left RCS after her junior year, is expecting her fourth child in September! She is married to Aaron, who works for Pac Bell Wireless, and her children are Leah, Devin, Dominic, and the-soon-to-arrive Aarick. The Wallaces live in Pleasanton. Dan Ball and his wife Tina are the parents of Daniel Jr., Timothy, Kristina and John. Dan works for Abaxis, a blood analyzer manufacturer, and the Balls live in Castro Valley.

Kimberly (Fredricksen) Howe is living in Livermore, works for Crosswinds Church and is a newlywed! Her husband works for Symmons Body & Fender.

Heather (Frey) Korsten and her husband Roger live in Cambria, California, where he is a pastor at Community Presbyterian Church of Cambria. Their daughters are Elizabeth Jane (5), Sarah Anne (3) and Alyson Hope (1). Heather attended California State University at Hayward and the Academy of Ophthalmic Studies. Pray for their ministry to the Lord's youth.

Paul Kreiss and his wife Joy (Fisher--a former RCS student) live in Castro Valley. Paul received his AA degree from Chabot College and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from California State University at Hayward. He works for Federal Express, and Joy teaches piano.

Jeffie Miller lives in San Leandro and works at Sephora International. She attended Biola University, Cypress, California State University at Fullerton and California State University at Hayward.

Chad Nepstad and his wife Joei live in Citrus Heights, California, with their children Darrian and Seth. Chad attended the Heald Institute of Technology and received an AA in Electronic Technology. He works for Sonitrol of Sacramento.

Chris Pedigo lives in Arlington, Virginia and works for U.S. Representative Ken Calvert. Beth (Schroeder) Bernasconi and her husband David live in Alameda with their two little girls, Julia (2) and Stacie (7 weeks). The Bernasconis have been married since 1994. Beth attended Humboldt State University and earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed at the UCSF-Stanford Medical Center in San Francisco as an RN on orthopedic/neurosurgery unit.
