Extended CARE Ministries
(Children Are Regularly Encouraged)

Providing before, after school and vacation care for school age children attending grades K 8 at RCS.

Redwood Christian Schools day care is referred to by two different names: Extended day CARE (EDC) or Extended CARE Ministries (ECM). Both refer to the same excellent program that cares for children before and after school at RCS.

THE PURPOSE OF EXTENDED CARE MINISTRIES

1. To provide a safe and secure environment for elementary and junior high students attending Redwood Christian Schools in a before and after school program and all day during summer vacation and most holidays.

2. To provide enrichment to the biblical studies taught in the regular classroom.

3. To give parents and guardians the maximum flexibility in scheduling their use of Extended day CARE (EDC).

4. To assist parents and guardians in providing social interaction, community experiences and enjoyable opportunities for their children.

5. To provide the child with instructional enrichment during the summer months. More information and the fee schedule is available upon request.
