DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

PRAY FOR RCS DAILY!

Day 1       Thank the Lord for Redwood Christian Schools. Pray that each student will be served in the name of Jesus Christ.

Day 2       Thank the Lord for our political freedoms, especially those enjoyed by Christian schools. Pray that we will continue to be permitted to hire whom God choose’s and teach only the truth.

Day 3       Thank the Lord for the beauty of music. Pray for the directors of our elementary music pro-gram, our instrumental programs and choirs.

Day 4       Thank the Lord for directing our paths. Pray that Redwood’s administrative team will consistently look to the Lord for guidance.

Day 5       Thank the Lord for providing gifts and talents for use in His service. Pray for our secretaries, book-keepers and      

                 other office personnel.

Day 6       Thank the Lord for safety while traveling. Pray for our transporta-tion director, bus drivers and bus mechanic.

Day 7       Thank the Lord that Redwood’s ministry does not pause for the summer. Pray for the preparations now being made for next summer’s Extended-day CARE, Day Camp and sports camps.

Day 8       Thank the Lord for meeting our daily needs. Pray for our kitchen support staff and lunch supervisors.

Day 9       Thank the Lord for teachers who do so much more for their students than provide instruction. Pray that our faculty members will be strong in body and spirit.

Day 10     Thank the Lord for His bountiful, undeserved blessings. Pray that our tremendous donors will continue to regard Redwood as a ministry worthy of their eternal investment.

Day 11     Thank the Lord for the many ways He chooses to help us. Pray that ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) will continue its critical support of Christian schools throughout the world.

Day 12     Thank the Lord for the diversity of His creative work. Pray for our students who need extra help spiritually, academically, socially and/or physically.

Day 13     Thank the Lord for giving us strength to serve Him. Pray for our athletic and P.E. departments, as students are being challenged to use their bodies to glorify God.

Day 14     Thank the Lord for our mentors. Pray that our school board will continue its strong leadership, fortified by prayer and knowledge of the Word.

Day 15     Thank the Lord for churches which preach the Word. Pray that our local pastors will be strong supporters of Christian education.

Day 16     Thank the Lord for His faithfulness and loving kindness. Pray for the numerous care-providers who watch over His children during recess, nap times, lunch and extended-day care.

Day 17     Thank the Lord that a child who enters kindergarten at Redwood can also graduate from the same school. Pray that our alumni will provide a Christian education for their children.

Day 18     Thank the Lord for watching over us. Pray for our superintendent, who likes to keep in touch with each family, student and staff member at Redwood.

Day 19     Thank the Lord for His Spirit, who guides us into all truth. Pray that our students will be protected from the many elements of today’s society that can hinder their spiritual growth.

Day 20     Thank the Lord for parents who sacrifice to provide for their children a Christ-centered education. Pray for rich returns on their investment.

Day 21     Thank the Lord for providing a beautiful site for our new JHSH campus. Pray that we will obtain the legal right and the resources to begin building.

Day 22     Thank the Lord for His unseen Providence. Pray for our behind-the-scenes office staff, who lovingly labor for “their” students.

Day 23     Thank the Lord for people who accept His call to take leadership positions. Pray that our student leaders will take their responsibilities very seriously.

Day 24     Thank the Lord for His beautiful creation. Pray that our fine arts teachers will convey the wonder of this creation to their students.

Day 25     Thank the Lord for the facilities He has provided for this school year. Pray that He will continue to protect us from those who wish to do harm to our property.

Day 26     Thank the Lord for His precious Word, and for the ability to read and understand it. Pray for our librarians, who attempt to provide only wholesome reading material for our students.

Day 27     Thank the Lord that He has kept Redwood fiscally sound. Pray that we will wisely use our resources.

Day 28     Thank the Lord for His invitation to find salvation through Jesus Christ. Pray for our students and parents who are not yet Believers.

Day 29     Thank the Lord that He never rests from caring for us. Pray for our Extended-day CARE ministry.

Day 30     Thank the Lord that we are wonderfully made. Pray for the health of our students, teachers and support staff.

Day 31     Thank the Lord for the privilege of serving Him. Pray that we will always consider it an honor and a joy to fulfill whatever task He sends our way, for His eternal glory.
