| Academic Kindergarten
Please label the items below with your child's name:
1. Beach towel or crib blanket in a pillowcase for rest time.
No pillows, sleeping bags, or mattresses, please.
Resting mats are provided. Beach towel or blanket no bigger
than 3' X 5'. Please label pillowcase and
towel/blanket.
2. Backpack or book bag large enough for a lunch box and a
folder.
3. A small baggie with a pair of under pants - put name boldly
on baggie.
4. 1 large eraser.
5. 1 pair of scissors. (Fiskars work well. Safety
guard scissors often do not cut; they bend the paper)
6. 1 supply box, plastic (6x4x3).
7. 1 folder to carry work to and from school daily. You
may replace these as needed.
Do Not label the following supplies as they
will be used jointly by all the children:
11. 4 glue sticks.
12. 10 pencils (yellow #2 lead with eraser).
13. 1 box of Huggie wet wipes (180 refills are great).
14. 1 - 280 box of kleenex.
15. 5 boxes of 24 crayons - Crayola brand please.
Note: Kindergarten boys who are unable to
snap, button, or zip their pants should wear pants with an elastic
waist band. Kindergarten girls should wear play shorts under
their dresses all day. All children should wear athletic
shoes that provide strong lateral support. Please plan
for these shoes to be worn all day in school. |

| Grade 1 Please
bring all of the items listed below when you come to visit the open
classroom on Tuesday, August 28th.
Please do NOT put your child's name on any of the
supplies.
The following items must be labeled with your
child's name (you may use computer labels):
1. Athletic shoes which provide strong lateral
support to be worn all day. Label with initials
2. Two (2) portfolios with inside pockets for holding
school and homework papers (cover picture compatible with Christina
values, please).
3. Girls: Shorts, labeled and to be worn under
dresses all day.
4. Lunch in a lunch bag if not buying lunch. Make
sure name is on it.
5. Twenty-four (24) plain, yellow no. 2 pencils (PLEASE
sharpen them at home).
6. Twelve (12) eraser tops, PLUS four (4) soft medium
erasers.
7. Two (2) packages of regular binder paper (wide-rule).
8. Four (4) glue sticks.
9. Five (5) boxes of 24 crayons - no larger boxes,
please. No scented or washable crayons, please.
10. Metal scissors - not pointed ones.
11. Small, plastic supply box.
12. An old sock, to use as a slate eraser.
13. Two (2) large boxes (250 ct) of Kleenex.
14. One container of Wash 'n Dri or Kid Fresh (available at Longs).

1. Pack of wide-ruled binder paper.
2. Three (3) folders with pockets (cover pictures compatible
with Christian values, please).
3. Five (5) sharpened #2 penicils.
4. New International Version (NIV) Bible.
5. Large pencil bag (no pencil boxes).
6. 12" ruler (inches and metric).
7. Small glue stick.
8. Scissor's (blunt tips, non-plastic).
9. Medium soft eraser.
10. Old sock (for our slates).
11. 1 box of 24 crayons (no markers or felt tipped pens).
12. Spiral bound notebook.
13. Athletic shoes which provide strong lateral support to be

One (1) supply box, approx. 7"x11" or two boxes, approx. 5"x8".
Must be able to fit into the cubby.
2. Two (2) wide-ruled spiral notebooks.
3. One (1) pocket folder (cover compatible with Christian

4. 3-ring binder (1 1/2 inch).
5. Unlabeled binder dividers (8 preferred).
6. Twelve (12) #2 hardness sharpened pencils, labeled with
first name and last initial.
7. Medium soft eraser.
8. Two (2) glue sticks.
9. Two (2) red ball-point pens (labeled).
10. Scissors with blunt tips (not plastic).
11. Box of 24 crayons.
12. Colored pencils (box of 12).
13. New International Version (NIV) Bible with Old and New
Testaments.
14. Backpack, roll case, or book bag large enough for all
supplies.
15. Play shorts for girls to be worn under their dresses all
day.

17. One (1) large box of facial tissues for classroom supply.
18. One (1) roll of paper towels (for last names beginning
with A-L).

| Grade 4 1.
3-ring binder (1 or 1 1/2" wide, pockets on inside covers, if
possible). NOTE: Do not bring the typical "giant binder"
that zips shut...it's too big.
2. NIV Bible with concordance (may be purchased with gym
clothes at Redwood Elementary, North Campus on Tuesday 8/28).
3. Supply box (small, plastic, closes securely).
4. 6 standard folders (pockets inside the covers; cover
compatible with Christian values). *
5. Small cellophane pack of tissue.
6. Ruler (inches and metric).
7. Permanent sharpie pen, black.
8. Sturdy lunch pail (if you ever bring food).
9. Crayons (box of 24)
10. Hand sanitizer - small bottle.
11. Art eraser. "Magic Rub" (white & square) (not
required).
12. Colored pencils (box of 12)
13. 8 1/2 X 11, or 8 X 10 1/2 paper with left margin line (not
spiral bound), wide ruled, no pictures. Put about 100 pieces
of paper in the binder and the rest in a folder. *
14. Binder dividers with plastic tabs (make a label for each
of these subjects (abbreviations ok): Bible and Character
(BIBLE/CHAR), Science & Social Studies (SCI./SOC. St.), Reading
(READ), Spelling (SPELL), English (ENG), Math (MATH), OTHER, SCRAP
PAPER.
15. Red and white gym suit (available for
fitting and purchase Tuesday, August 28, 2-5 pm at the RCE North
Campus, N12).
16. 4 book covers (grocery bags are fine)
17. Small, sturdy gym clothes bag, just big enough for gym
clothes and shoes
18. Pencil bag (small, closes securely, "see through" is
best). Put the following items in the bag:
19. Safety scissors (blunt tip)
20. 6 or more #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils). *
21. Glue stick.
22. Three (3) black or blue ball-point pens. *
23. Spiral-bound pad of lined index cards (3x5" or 4x6").
24. 4-8 thin-tip markers.
